Federal Legislation Insurance Committee
The Federal Legislation Insurance Committee (FLIC) is a national committee. Members are exceptional school superintendents from around the country and attorneys with school law, labor and claims experience. The committee provides support to SLRMA in the following areas:
- Analysis of federal legislation and its potential for claims and litigation against school districts.
- A review of proposed legislation and its potential for claims and litigation.
- Creation of risk managment tools such as self-audits and checklists.
